Can I pay cash on delivery?

Yes. However, we are unable to allow cash orders through the site and you must call the shop.

Do you offer delivery?

Yes, we do. Please see our delivery process and terms and conditions. If you have any questions, please ring the shop.

What is the delivery zone?

We deliver to the surrounding suburbs of Forest Hill only. These include: Forest Hill, Doncaster, Doncaster East, Box Hill, Box Hill North, Blackburn, Surrey Hills, Burwood, Burwood East, Donvale, Syndal, Park Orchards, Ringwood, Ringwood North, Heathmont, Vermont, Vermont South, Wantirn and Glen Waverley. How much does delivery cost?

We deliver for a flat fee of $10 if the order amount is $75 or under. Orders over $75 are delivered free of charge. If you are a pensioner, you can receive free shipping on orders $50 and below—simply call the shop.

When can I expect my order to arrive?

Your order will arrive on the day you nominate. You can choose from the subequent Monday, Wednesday or Friday. We’ll text you the morning of the delivery to let you know when we plan on making drop off.

How is my order packaged and delivered?

We deliver orders in refrigerated trucks, with our products packaged in insulated boxes designed to maintain the proper temperatures for up to 5 hours from delivery. When your meat is delivered, we guarantee it will be less than 5 degrees. It is then the responsibility of the recipient to ensure the package is properly refrigerated.

What happens if I’m not home when my order is delivered?

If you are not at the specified delivery address at the specified delivery time frame, or the specified address cannot be accessed, we will contact you on the number you provided.

If we cannot contact you, our driver will wait 15 minutes before returning the meat to our shop, for you to pick up.

Our driver will place an "Unsuccessful Delivery Attempt" card in your letter box.

If you are unable to pick up the order and/or need it redelivered, you will be charged an additional restocking and redelivery fee.

Under no circumstances whatsoever do we leave meat unattended, or unsigned for, unless the "Authority to leave order unattended" checkbox has been ticked during checkout.

Can I cancel my order?

Once you have placed an order through the online store, the site is unable to cancel the order for you. If you want to cancel or amend the order, please call us. We will make reasonable efforts to cancel or amend that order in accordance with your instructions, provided the order has not already been prepared. However, you may be charged the full purchase price if the order has already been prepared.

Do you offer returns or refunds?

Albert & Power will not issue refunds for change of mind or making an incorrect decision. You can choose between a refund or exchange where goods are faulty, have been wrongly described or are different to the product purchased on the website.

In the event that an ordered item is not available or we are unable to fulfil your order we will notify you within 2 business days to arrange an agreeable alternative item, a backorder or a full refund.

Quality issues with perishables resulting to refund or replacement need to be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

How can I pay for my order?

If you order over the website you must pay by card. Credit card payments are processed securely through a third party payment processor and are subject to that party’s terms and conditions. Upon completion of your payment we will email you a receipt. We are not able to access your credit card details. Goods are dispatched when payment has cleared.

I need to pay cash on delivery.

If you want to pay by cash, you must call the shop to place your order.

Is the meat delivered fresh or frozen?

All our meat is delivered fresh. We don’t freeze goods.

Can I order something that isn’t listed on the website?

Of course! If you don’t see something on the website, give us a ring to see if we can get it for you.
